Albie Donnelly’s artistry is not only limited to his band SUPERCHARGE.

He is regarded as charismatic saxophone player of brilliant virtuosity and splendid playing technique.

Albie Donnelly is able to produce all the different sparkling tone colours with his saxophone – from crying sadness to laughing happiness, from whispering silence to infernal roaring – for his listeners all this is pure fascination from the very first to the very last tone.

His once powerful and throaty, then again smooth and gentle saxophone sound, his prominent voice and his unrivalled sense of humour has been attracting his audience over and over again.

His artistic skills are proven by his individual interpretation of classical musicians like Cole Porter, Duke Ellington or Louis Jordan as well as his own compositions and musical projects.

Albie and Greg have decided after a long break to reform their duo as an alternative to Supercharge for concert and smaller venues with an intimate atmosphere for a listening audience of lovers of this kind of music.

Greg Barrett has performed with some of the great names of country and soul and blues including: The Allman Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry and Willie Nelson to name but a few.

Albie Donnelly has performed with Bob Geldof, Georgie Fame, Jon Lord (Deep Purple), Chuck Berry, Chris Farlowe and toured with Ray Charles, B.B.King, Fats Domino and Queen.

Both Musicians are seasoned professionals who guarantee an evening of superb music and entertainment.
